While persusing stock photos I happened across the wonderful work done by Marcus J. Ranum in his stock account. I found myself looking through the offerings there numerous times and with each new page it seemed to inspire a new idea about how these lovely images could be used. The models convey untold emotions so well, and the size and framimg of the photos makes each ones potential limited only by ones skills (very meager in my case) or ideas.
It very well may be that the greatest thing any artist can do is to inspire others, no matter what form that inspiration takes. In that regard I must say that Mr. Ranum has suceeded and is indeed a wonderful artist since his photographs have indeed inspired me and will no doubt continue to do so. I feel as though my skills may not be up to the task of fully binging to life my ideas, it is none the less a lot of fun to try and I hope that maybe they will even inspire others a little in return.

Useless rant about some stock galleries
In my travels through DA's stock artist galleries I have come across so many with odd and rather ambiguous restrictions. Mind you I'm not talking about specific restrictions which are understandable. Restrictions such as no off site, print usage and other such clear and concise limits are very understandable and reasonable to me.
I am the type of person who follows rules, and asks permission before using something in a manner beyond what the owner has outlined. As such, there are some restrictions that artists put on images that I just can't get my head around sometimes, usually because they are so vague.
Some examples:

I've been molested!
Yesterday I stopped in and noticed my page was defaced. It seems some nawty deviant had somehow stuck a llama on me that now follows me where ever I go. While I now find the little guy to be kinda cute, at first his presence was disturbing. I mean here was this fur bearing beastie following me, no perhaps stalking me is a better term. I had contacted the authorities but they were no help at all. It seems one can not get a restraining order against a llama. Not sure of it's intentions, I found myself looking over my shoulder trying to keep an eye on it in my travels through deviant land. While it now seems that this critter is perhaps benign,

On Demons prize
I have been wanting to some "dark" images lately and thought that a demon and a lovely lady could provide that outlet. With this image, I'm not sure if the final result expresses that dark mood, mainly because it involves a bright flaming demon. On the one hand, the demon seems to draw a lot of focus, yet also frames the helpless lass. I tried to convey highlights to her, as though the main light source had come from the demon himself. I had also thought of using another model for this type of piece that did not involve bondage, and may yet have a go at that as well.

Comments on favorites
I just came across another very cool picture here and got to thinking that although it is nice that we can comment on others work I wish we could add comments to things we post in our favorites gallery. Since we can't do that I figured the best way may be to just pop a note in the journal. Since now is as good a time to start as any, here goes!
The first shot is posted in the gallery of RichardKnightly as "Catsuit Dive".
It is located here: http://richardknightly.deviantart.com/art/Catsuit-Dive-115543078
The color contrast is striking, the angle of the shot, flowing curves in everything from the fin to her hair makes this a striking shot
